Whether you are male or female, have years of experience, or have never been near a horse before we have, we have something for everyone. Any questions, contact Lynn or Asta otherwise come along and try!
Lessons: We hold lessons on a weekly basis on a Monday night. These lessons cater for all standards of riding and transport is provided. Places are allocated on a sign up sheet on the club site, so you can come as and when you can. The yard is a well-run yard with a friendly atmosphere and a good selection of horses to suit all abilities. The facilities include: large indoor school, floodlight outdoor school and a jumping paddock. E-mail Lynn or Asta to be added to the club site. Lessons Cost £14.50 plus a small contribution to petrol.
Team: For those who have competitive experience we have a team who competes in the British Universities League and the Scottish Universities Championships which were held at Gleneagles. The competitions involve dressage and show jumping with the aim of the competition being to test the rider’s ability on an unknown horse. Team training takes place on a Wednesday and costs £14.50. Try outs for the team take place during week one and week two of term so contact Asta or come along to the Freshers Fayre where there will be a sign up sheet.
Other: Throughout the year there are plenty of opportunities for socialising both with the club and with the sports union. So if you fancy working on your riding skills then please feel free to come along and speak to us at the Freshers Fayre or feel free to contact us by e-mail.
