Whether you’re an elite athlete looking for a competitive racing schedule or just looking to work off some of that alcohol, we’ll have something for you!
We formed as a club last year and have had a very successful year sending representatives to all the national champs from the BUSA cross country to the Scottish unis indoors and came away with a fair few medals too, but don’t worry if you’re not a seasoned racer or not up for the racing quite yet your more than welcome to come along for the trip away and the social after! We also take part in some of the local road races which are ideal for an intro into racing so it’s a great place to start but no pressure if you just want to come along for some fun your more than welcome.
To give you an idea of some of the training we are going to provide next year:
- Circuit sessions – good opportunity for track and field and cross country to get together and battle it out – whos the best??
- Track sessions and contacts for coaches
- Beach sessions for both sprints and endurance – don’t forget your cosy for a splash after!
- Multi-event track afternoons – you never know what your hidden talents are!
- Sunday long runs – the perfect hang over cure.
