Dundee Reclaim Tay Games Varsity!!
The University of Dundee reclaimed the Tay Games Inter-Varsity Challenge for the second year running with victory over close neighbours The University of Abertay. Dundee secured victory with win's for men and women's football, netball, and men and women's hockey. The fixtures were held at Riverside, ISE, and DISC and was used to raise money for BUCS charity of choice 'Right

Blues and Colours tickets now on sale

Blues and Colours tickets are now on sale in the Sports Union Office. Tickets are priced at £40 each however are restricted to 10 per club until the 3rd March when a free sale will take place.
The ball takes place at the Carnoustie Golf Course and ticket price includes transport, a 3 course meal and ceilidh.
Buses from the Union at 6:30pm. Air Bar open from 5:30pm.
Dress code: Black tie

BUCS knock-outs update

Women's Volleyball took a step closer to a BUCS medal after beating Loughborough 3-1 down in England and securing their place in the Championship finals along with 7 other British University teams. The finals weekend will take place in Sheffield on the 13th-15th March.
After the match was postponed twice due to the snow, women's football's fixture against Nottingham Trent University went ahead on the 12th February. Unfortunately the girls lost the match 8-1.

Dundee rugby player gets first Scotland cap

Congratulations to Katy Green who received her first Scotland cap in the Scotland Women vs France game in Arras on Sunday 15th coming on as a substitute and featuring in the second half of the match.
3 ex-Dundee students, Cara D'Silva, Laura Steven and Sarah Gill also featured in the game, with D'Silva scoring one of the tries.
Scotland produced a gutsy performance, however the game ended with a 12-25 defeat.
